Light illuminates, shadow defines.

Notan Live! is a visualization tool designed for artists. Operating akin to the threshold adjustment layer in Photoshop, it serves as a valuable aid for composition by enabling artists to work solely with shadows. This tool allows for the arrangement of light and dark elements within visual space.

In the NOTAN view, a single slider empowers users to select a pixel luminosity value ranging from 0 to 255 in real time. Values equal to or below the chosen threshold appear as black (shadow), while those exceeding the threshold display as white (light).

Artists have the option to preview their work in Color, NOTAN, and B/W modes. Additionally, images can be saved in any of these modes. The tool provides easy access to the camera roll through an icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen and can swiftly return to live view using the camera icon situated at the bottom right corner of the screen.
